There are a good range of corded home phones available to people suffering from hearing impairment. Even severe hearing loss doesn't have to mean that using a telephone is out of the question.

Many of the corded phones look very similar to the big buttoned phones that are widely available, they just happen to have extra features such as volume boost and tone settings along with strobe lighting for when the phone rings. They are also hearing aid compatible.
